Attention all prospective and current BMW i3 owners. Here’s a quick video of how to adjust the charge rate on your car from within the cabin. This is especially important for new owners as the charge rate is set at ‘Reduced’ from the factory.
So even if you connect to a super duper, rinky dink, fast as you like, AC charger (like a Zappi, Cylon or AURA, and irrespective of if you charge in public or at home, your car may only charge at as little as 6 amps or 6-8 Km per hour!
